Using Skills
What's in a Skill
Each Skill is packaged in the open Agent Skills format, so it works with Claude Code, Cursor, OpenAI Codex, and any other tool that supports Agent Skills.
A downloaded Skill contains:
SKILL.md: the core file. Written in plain language, it describes when to use the skill, what it accomplishes, the steps involved at a business-process level, and the inputs or variations to expect.references/: supporting files for edge cases or details that don't belong in the mainSKILL.md(only included when needed).
Skills describe what to do, not exactly how to click through a specific UI, so the same Skill works whether your agent uses computer-use/browser automation or an MCP server, and keeps working even if the underlying app's interface changes.
Downloading a Skill
From the Skill Library, open a Skill that is Ready to use and click Download. This downloads the Skill's SKILL.md and any supporting files.
Adding a Skill to your agent
Exactly how you add a Skill depends on the tool:
- Claude Code: place the downloaded folder under
.claude/skills/<skill-name>/in your project (or your global skills directory). Claude Code automatically discovers and usesSKILL.mdfiles there when relevant. - Cursor: place the downloaded folder under
.cursor/skills/<skill-name>/in your project (or~/.cursor/skills/<skill-name>/to keep it personal across every project). Cursor automatically discovers and usesSKILL.mdfiles there when relevant. - OpenAI Codex: place the downloaded folder under
.agents/skills/<skill-name>/in your project (or~/.agents/skills/<skill-name>/to keep it personal across every project). Codex automatically discovers and usesSKILL.mdfiles there when relevant. - Other Agent-Skills-compatible tools: consult that tool's documentation for where it looks for Agent Skills. The
SKILL.mdformat is the same; only the folder location differs.
Once added, your agent pulls in the Skill's instructions automatically whenever a task matches what it describes. No extra configuration needed.
